​MEET PROF. DR. AHMAD FARHAN MOHD SADULLAH

Prof. Dr. Ahmad Farhan Mohd Sadullah is a Professor in Transport Studies at the School of Civil Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). Farhan is a Professor in Transport Studies at the School of Civil Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and is presently, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic & International) of USM.  He is one of the pioneering land present Commission Member of the Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD). He was appointed as the Director General of the Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research (MIROS) between 2008 and 2011.  Professionally, he is a life member of the Road Engineering Association of Malaysia (REAM), member of the Intelligent Transport System (ITS) Malaysia, Institution of Transportation Engineers (ITE), Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM), Road Engineering Association of Asia and Australasia (REAAA), and the Transportation Science Society of Malaysia (TSSM).

​MEET AO. UNIV. PROF. DR. GÜNTER EMBERGER

Ao. Univ. Prof. Dr. Günter Emberger, has been a guest Research Fellow at the Institute for Transport Studies (ITS), University of Leeds, UK from July 2002 to June 2004 , Ao.Univ.Professor at the Institute for Transportation, Center for Transport Planning and Traffic Engineering (TUW-IVV), University of Technology Vienna (TU Wien), Austria from March 1990 to June 2002 and July 2004 onwards. He studied Computer Science and Business Administration at the University of Vienna, Austria. He is working in the field of transport research since 1990. He has wide experience in travel demand behaviour analyses, design and implementation of 4 stage transport models and strategic transport models on urban, regional and European level, traffic safety and environmental impacts of car traffic, and did a lot of works in the field of public transport. He is actively involve in a series of national and international research projects like OPTIMA, FATIMA, SAMI, SIMTRAP, TRANSPLUS, PROSPECTS, SPECTRUM, PLUME, SPARKLE, STEPS, DISTILLATE, FUNDING, OBIS ORIGAMI, COMPASS, and others.

​MEET IR CHIN KAR KEONG

 

 

 

 

Ir Chin Kar Keong is presently the Advisor for Highway & Transport Engineering Technical Division the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) and a Council Member of the Intelligent Transport System Association of Malaysia. He is Managing Director of Atur Trafik Sdn Bhd and has 30 years of experience in areas of traffic and transportation modeling, analysis and transport master planning. He has worked on toll highway projects in Malaysia, Indonesia, India and Myanmar, conducted traffic and revenue studies for the ERL and KL Monorail Projects, provided inputs to national and regional planning studies such as National Highway Network Development Plan Review, National Physical Plan Review, KL City Plan 2020, etc and had submitted more than 200 TIA reports throughout Malaysia. Ir Chin obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (1982) and Master of Engineering (1984) degrees in Civil Engineering from Kyoto University, Japan. He had also attended post–graduate courses in Regional and Infrastructure Planning at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden from 1992-1994.
