About the Seminar

Future mobility matters! The expanding population in megacities has led to an urban sprawl which has put a tremendous amount of strain on the city‘s transportation infrastructure. We face challenges in terms of congestion, air quality, noise, livability, global warming and sustainable economic development. Developments in mobility are complex , highly dynamic and what we know today is obsolete tomorrow.

How to overcome challenges and make change happen?

Which approach do we take to achieve sustainable urban mobility?

How to put all efforts on technological advances towards a sustainable urban mobility system?

The inspiring speakers will shed some lights on these issues. In addition, the interactive sessions will generate discussions and the participants will experience common challenges in driving up sustainable mobility.

This seminar is jointly organized by the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Vienna University of Technology, Austria and ASEAN European Academic University Network (ASEA UNINET)
